On Friday, May 5th, 2023, 24 first-year engineering students with aspirations of taking the UPSC exam were taken to attend an interactive session at KPR IAS Academy. The session was led by Mr. Palani Murugan, Director of KPR IAS Academy, who provided valuable insights regarding UPSC notification timelines, exam patterns, syllabus, study materials, and preparation strategies. During the session, students were able to clarify their doubts and questions about the exam requirements, and were reminded of the importance of consistent hard work and commitment in their UPSC journey.
The event became even more special when alumni from KPR IAS Academy who are currently pursuing UPSC coaching addressed the aspirants. Mr. Naveen, Ms. Hema, and Ms. Sai Vidhya, alumni from the Mechanical, BME, and Civil batches of 2020 and 2021, shared their personal experiences and preparation strategies with the UPSC aspirants. The session not only helped the aspirants gain more clarity about the UPSC preparation process, but also motivated them to commence their UPSC journey right from the first year of graduation.
To support the aspirants in their exam preparation techniques and process, a mentor-mentee system will be implemented. This system will enhance their overall exam preparation strategies and help them achieve their goals. Overall, the interactive session proved to be an excellent platform for UPSC aspirants to learn from experienced professionals, gain insights about the exam, and clarify their doubts about the requirements. Career Advancement Cell (CAC) to collaborate with KPR IAS Academy to mould the UPSC aspirants and prepare them to chase their dreams of taking up civil services as a career option.
