KPR International Centre, in association with the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, are jointly organizing an international seminar on “Smart IoT & its Future scope”, with the aim of providing students with knowledge on Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. The event will take place on 06.04.2023 at Thanam hall from 02.00 pm to 03.00 pm.150 students and 15 faculty members attended the seminar. Mr. Hee Yong Youn, Professor, School of Information and Communication Engineering and Director of Ubi qui-tous computing Technology Research Institute, Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, Korea was the chief guest. Dr. M. Akila, Principal of the college, presided over the seminar. Dr. M.A. Manikandan, Director of KPR International Centre welcomed the attendees. Dr. K. Vishnukumar, Professor of Department of Computer Science and Engineering delivered the vote of thanks. During the seminar, Prof. Hee Yong Youn delivered a speech on the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence & Internet of Things and the potential impact they could have on various industries. In the Q&A session that followed, students asked a number of questions on programming languages, latest trends in AI, and the future scope of Internet of Technology. Prof. Hee Yong Youn expertly clarified all of these queries and provided valuable insights to the students. After the seminar, our Principal Dr. M. Akila had an interaction with Prof. Hee Yong Youn for future research collaboration, internship programs, project funding, seminar, and webinars for the faculty members and students on AI & IoT. The expert also had discussions with the professors of the respective departments on the latest trends and advancements in technology. We are glad to have organized such an insightful and informative seminar and look forward to more collaborations and events in the future.
