The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a hands-on workshop on “DESIGN OF BLDC MOTOR USING SIMCENTER MAGNET SOFTWARE” on 31/03/2023. A heart-warming welcome was delivered by Prof.B.Lalitha, AP (Sr.G). Prof.C.J.Vignesh, AP (Sr.G)/EEE has delivered valuable hands-on presentation on
•              Basics of MagNet software
•              Model building in MagNet software
•              Statics 2D modelling of electromagnet
•              Brushless motor – 2D transient with motion
•              Import and export design model into solid work
•              Statics BLDC motor and induction motor design
•              Flux analysis and field study on motor model
The hands-on program provided the experience on installation of Simcenter Magnet Software, menu and tools usage, 2D design, application of Magent software. The   vote   of   thanks   was   delivered by Dr.C.Pazhanimuthu, AP (Sl.G)/EEE. There were 31 students and 04 faculty actively participated the programme and get benefited. The department of EEE thanks to the management for providing this opportunity to conduct the two-day workshop successfully.
