On February 18, 2022, the KPRIET Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted an awareness program on the theme "Onsight Education" as an offline (physical) event. Ing. Yogesh Kumar Ravikumar is a KPRIET alumnus (Batch 2014-18). The program began with a welcome message by Mr.S.Gokulkumar, Alumni Coordinator-Mechanical Department, followed by the presenter's extremely motivational lecture. The interaction was aimed to guide and motivate students to pursue the appropriate career with zeal and conviction in abroad.
During the interaction, the following topics were discussed:
1. Career Guidance - Career Stream Selection
2. Getting Ready for Onsight Challenges.
3. Required skill sets for the chosen stream.
4. How to select a university based on specific requirements
Around 65 students took part in the program. Several audience questions were addressed by the speakers during the Q & A session. The diversity and breadth of the questions raised indicates that participants engaged actively in the programme. Dr. L. Prabhu, Assistant Professor (Sl.G), Department of Mechanical Engineering, concluded the engagement with a Departmental vote of gratitude to the speakers, students, and organizing team.
