The Hackathon on C programming, organized by the Software Development Club (SDC) on January 21, 2023 as part of the IGNITRON event, was a successful gathering of students who have a passion for coding. The event was held for a duration of 3 hours, providing participants the chance to display their proficiency in the C programming language. The hackathon began with an opening ceremony, where the organizers greeted the chief guests with a warm welcome speech, and provided an overview of the rules and guidelines. Participants were divided into teams, each consisting of 2 members. The teams were given a set of problems to solve, which were designed to test their knowledge and understanding of C programming. Throughout the hackathon, participants were given the freedom to work on their own projects, using the C programming language. They were encouraged to be creative and think outside the box. The event also offered a great opportunity for participants to collaborate with their peers and learn from one another. The teams presented their projects to a panel of judges, which were the chief guests present at the event. The projects were evaluated based on their creativity, functionality, and overall quality. The winning team was announced during the closing ceremony, and prizes were awarded to the top teams.
