The event “From Idea to Research Paper – Research 101” was successfully conducted on 21 August 2026 at the Biomechanics Lab, Aryabhatta Block. The session provided participants with a structured understanding of the research process, beginning with the identification of a research problem and progressing towards the preparation of a research paper.
Participants gained knowledge on research problem formulation, literature review, defining objectives, selecting appropriate methodologies, analysing results, structuring a manuscript, and understanding the publication process. The session helped students understand the importance of originality, systematic research practices, scientific writing, and effective presentation of research findings.
The event encouraged students to develop a research-oriented and innovative mindset and motivated them to transform their academic and project ideas into potential research publications. The interactive nature of the session enabled participants to clarify their doubts and gain practical insights into initiating research activities.
Overall, the programme successfully enhanced research awareness, scientific communication skills, and confidence among the participants to undertake research and prepare scholarly publications.
