The Centre for Staff Development (CSD) organized an awareness session titled βOBE β Pathway to Excellenceβ for II Year PG students to create awareness about the significance and application of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The session focused on the necessity of OBE in promoting learner-centric, measurable, and outcome-oriented education. The resource person explained how OBE differs from traditional learning approaches, highlighting the shift from content-focused teaching to competency and outcome-based learning. The session also introduced students to Revised Bloomβs Taxonomy (RBT) levels, including Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, and Create, and explained their relevance in developing higher-order thinking skills. Students were encouraged to understand course outcomes, align their learning activities with expected outcomes, and actively participate in the learning process. The session helped students recognize the importance of continuous assessment, attainment of learning outcomes, and skill development. Overall, the programme enhanced studentsβ awareness of OBE practices and motivated them to take greater responsibility for achieving academic and professional excellence.
