Palliyilirundhu Palkalaikazhagam Varai, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The Department of Engineering Chemistry, in association with the Outreach Committee, organized an awareness seminar titled "Palliyilirundhu Palkalaikazhagam Varai" for the students of AVAT Higher Secondary School. The resource person delivered an interactive session emphasizing the importance of higher education, career planning, skill development, and lifelong learning.

Students developed a better understanding of the importance of pursuing higher education.Awareness regarding engineering courses, admission procedures, and career opportunities was significantly enhanced. Students gained confidence in setting educational and career goals. Participants became aware of scholarship opportunities and government initiatives supporting higher education. The session motivated many students, particularly those from rural and economically weaker backgrounds, to aspire for university education. Students actively interacted with the resource person, reflecting increased interest in higher studies. The programme strengthened the institutional outreach initiative and established a positive academic connection between KPRIET and AVAT Higher Secondary School.
