Towards celebrating the National Mathematics Day on 22nd December 2022, Department of Mathematics, KPRIET have planned for a Drawing Competition in the name of KPR MATH ART GALA 22’ for the First year students. After pre-approvals, Posters were released along with he registration link. Around 52 students wee register among them, 42 were participated in the ART contest. Competition was held in 3 Categories i) Foreign Mathematicians, ii) Indian Mathematicians and iii) i) Applications of Mathematics. Three winners were selected through Online Poll using polling software among all I Year students and prizes along with appreciation certificates were provided. All the participant's Arts were displayed as ART GALLERY @ S&H Hall for One week. Dr. P. Thangaraj, Director CFRD inaugurated the KPR MATH ART GALA GALLERY. Dr. Kathirvelu M, Professor ECE, Dr. Balamurugan A, Professor CSBS, Dr. Rajkumar, Mech, Hod & Faculties of Mathematics Department the Gallery Opening Ceremony.
For next Two week Gallery was visited by many Students and Faculty members. I CSE A - Deeghshika M, K.Sadhana I B Tech IT and Raja Mari I CSC C were got prizes in Foreign Mathematicians Category, Nirupama R IT, Hemant kumar sachdev 1st year AIML and I Chemical- K.V.Kayal were got prizes in Indian Mathematicians Category. I Mech- Himanshu Mohan Mishya, I ECE A- Hema Varshini and I Chemical-Harsha Vardhini were got prizes in Application of Mathematics Category. This event is planned to be conducted as yearly event for every December 22nd, National Mathematics Day for celebrating Birthday of the great Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
