Pulse Pitch 2026 was successfully conducted by the Department of Biomedical Engineering in association with BMESI and Medico Sapiens. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who presented innovative ideas in the domains of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Rehabilitation Engineering, Bioinformatics, and Signal Processing.
The participants demonstrated creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills by proposing solutions to contemporary healthcare challenges. The objective of Pulse Pitch 2026 was to provide a platform for students to present innovative ideas and solutions in emerging areas of Biomedical Engineering, thereby enhancing their research aptitude, creativity, and communication skills.
The event commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of innovation and research in healthcare technology. Participants presented their ideas in the areas of AI in Healthcare, Rehabilitation Engineering, Bioinformatics, and Signal Processing. Each participant was given an opportunity to explain the significance, methodology, and potential impact of their proposed solution.
Dr.K.S. Tamil selvan(Prof/BM) evaluated the presentations and provided valuable suggestions for further improvement and development. The interactive session encouraged discussion, critical thinking, and collaborative learning among participants.
Students from various years of the Biomedical Engineering programme actively participated.
