The four-day Faculty Development Program on "AI in Engineering Education and Simulation" was conducted successfully by the Department of Chemical Engineering from 09.06.2026 to 12.06.2026. The program featured expert sessions by eminent academicians and industry professionals covering applications of Artificial Intelligence in engineering education, chemical engineering, healthcare, catalyst design, autonomous AI agents, and simulation techniques.
A total of 54 participants attended the program, including 45 external participants from various academic institutions and industries, and 9 internal participants from KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology. The sessions enhanced participants' understanding of AI-driven teaching methodologies, research acceleration, engineering simulations, and emerging AI applications. The interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions received positive feedback, making the FDP a successful platform for professional development and interdisciplinary learning.
