Actual Outcome and Report of the Event
The Inauguration Ceremony of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS), KPRIET Student Branch Chapter was successfully conducted on 11.04.2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Raagam Hall, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.
The event commenced with the gracious presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Sakthi Vignesh, Software Team Lead, Kawasaki Robotics, whose inspiring address provided valuable insights into the latest trends, career opportunities, and industrial applications in the field of robotics and automation. His session motivated students to actively engage in technological innovation and professional development.
The ceremony was presided over by the faculty representatives Mr. A Balaji, Faculty Advisor (IEEE RAS) and Mr. S N Dinesh, Counsellor (SMIEEE), who highlighted the vision, mission, and future roadmap of the newly inaugurated IEEE RAS student chapter.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and IEEE members across departments. The inauguration marked a significant milestone in promoting robotics research culture, technical learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and industry interaction among students.
