We started with an aim to create a new breed of comprehensive innovators – those informed by design thinking, influenced by future technologies and trends, and inspired to make their own mark in the global economic and technological scenario.
Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII-TN), was established in 2001 as a not-for-profit society by Government of Tamil Nadu and is involved in the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship in the State. It has trained 4.30 lakh entrepreneurs in various programmes since its inception, covering a varied clientele of students, existing and aspiring MSME entrepreneurs and Startups.EDII-TN is conducting various scheme training programme such as EDP, IEDP, Incubation, IVP and ICT programmes etc., for that, in order to strengthen the above scheme training programmes, it is required to engage the updated professional Resource Persons for handing the required topics of the training programme.In this connection, the professional resource persons is called for handing the scheme training programme such as EDP, IEDP, Incubation, IVP and ICT programmes etc., in the following required thematic areas as Entrepreneurship Development program.
As part of this program EDII had sanctioned Rs 10000/- towards conducting Entrepreneurship Development program at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology students. There were around 100 students eagerly attending to the session on design thinking , successful Entrepreneurship and funding opportunities for proto typing. Snacks were served for the students and meeting ended with question answer session. Valuable takeaway points were Today, Innovation is already much more than just products and technology and even human centered design. It’s about the journey of connecting one’s personal capability with the larger ecosystem. It is this continuous attempt to explore the possibilities and come up with meaningful products, services, businesses, organizations and ecosystems.
