“ Birds can live without the help of humans.But humans cannot live without the help of birds”
The ECO club of KPRIET Sangamam organized a Bird watching event. We invited Rtn. Ravindran Kamatchi, President of Nature Society, Tiruppur. He is also a motivational speaker. We started at 7am. We moved around the campus and we saw more than 20 varieties of birds. We saw birds like Purple rumped sunbird, Spotted dove, Ashy prinia, Woodpecker, Yellow billed babbler, Red vented bulbul, Laughing dove, Golden oviole, Rufern tree pie, Black drongo, Myna, home crow, Shikra, Koel, Peacock, Large crow, Large gray babbler, Purple sunbird etc.. He also explained the role of human beings in helping the birds to live in its natural habitat peacefully. The participants got to know more about different birds and humans' responsibilities in protecting the birds.
