OPPORTUNITIES FOR CIVIL ENGINEERS IN STEEL DETAILING, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The programme was organized by Department of Civil Engineering having Er. Shanjeev Balajothi, CEO, Ayari Venture Steel Detailing Private Limited, USA as resource person. He explained clearly about the scope of steel detailing among the students and created an awareness about the career opportunities for civil engineering students. He also presented on the projects that Ayari Venture Pvt Ltd is performing at USA. Software tools usage is very important for steel detailing. He also briefed about the softwares like SDS2, TEKLA and related with the live projects to give a better understanding.
This event enhanced the knowledge of Civil Engineering students and will help to upgrade themselves. Resource person also clarified the doubts raised by the students and interacted with them. Totally 5 faculty members and 175 students from III Year and IV Year attended and were benefitted from the programme.
