On 22nd February 2025, the IETE Students Forum proudly organized an engaging and intellectually stimulating event named Quiz-O-Mania. Held at the esteemed KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, this event brought together students with a passion for both technical and non-technical knowledge. Participants had the opportunity to showcase their prowess in a series of challenging quizzes, fostering a spirit of competition and camaraderie. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation and meticulous organization by the IETE Students Forum.
Objective
The objective of Quiz-O-Mania, organized by the IETE Students Forum, was to foster a spirit of learning, curiosity, and healthy competition among students. By conducting a series of technical and non-technical quizzes, the event aimed to:
Encourage students to broaden their knowledge and understanding in various fields.
Promote critical thinking, quick decision-making, and teamwork.
Provide a platform for students to showcase their skills and talents in a fun and engaging manner.
Enhance camaraderie and networking opportunities among participants from different disciplines.
Event Details
The session commenced at 2:00 AM at D 105 ECE Block and continued throughout the day . Expert facilitators provided guidance through various modules:
Round 1: Non Techincal Questions
In the first round, participants faced a series of non-technical questions designed to test their general knowledge, current affairs, and logical reasoning skills.
This round aimed to create a level playing field, allowing participants from diverse academic backgrounds to showcase their broader knowledge and quick thinking.
Questions varied across a wide range of topics, ensuring a fun and engaging start to the competition.
Round 2: Technical Questions
The second round shifted focus to technical questions, drawing on participants' expertise in their respective fields.
Questions covered various technical subjects, such as electronics, programming, engineering principles, and more.
This round challenged participants to demonstrate their depth of knowledge and problem-solving abilities in a competitive environment.
Round 3: Advanced Technical Questions
The final round featured more advanced technical questions, pushing participants to apply their critical thinking and specialized knowledge.
This round included complex problems, case studies, and application-based questions that required a thorough understanding of technical concepts.
The aim was to identify the most skilled and knowledgeable participants who could excel under pressure and showcase their mastery of technical subjects.
