The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET), Avinashi Road, Arasur, Coimbatore, in association with The Hindu Group, successfully conducted an Awareness Workshop on PCRA - Saksham 2025, titled "Cleaner Environment through Green and Clean Energy." The event focused on promoting a cleaner environment through the adoption of green and clean energy solutions. The association's student members welcomed the gathering, and the HoD of EEE delivered the presidential address. The workshop featured two distinguished speakers, who provided valuable insights from their respective fields, Mr. M. Jegadesh Kumar, Regional Head, Sales and Distribution Function at The Hindu Group, Coimbatore, highlighted the significance of media in spreading awareness about energy conservation and environmental sustainability. Mr. S. Sanjay Kondaas, Managing Director, Kondaas Automation, Coimbatore, shared his expertise on sustainable automation and the role of technology in advancing clean energy solutions. The event emphasized the importance of energy conservation, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable development, inspiring students to contribute towards a greener future. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks.
