Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with Indian Welding Society organized a Guest lecture on the topic entitled “Need for Welding Automation” by Mr.S.Ramanathan, Technical Project Manager, Kavin Inc., Coimbatore on 30.07.2022 from 2.00 PM to 3.00PM. Around 70 aspirants had attended the session. The speaker emphasized the need for welding automation and its demand in industries. He also explained the various types of robots, manipulators, controllers used in robotic welding for different application. Further, he interacted with the participants and clarified the doubts raised. The session was vibrant, interactive and very much helpful to the participants.
