The Department of Civil Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with Student Affairs and the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), organized a guest lecture on 31st July 2024 for II-year Civil Engineering students on the topic “Entrepreneurship in Civil Engineering.” The session was led by Er. N. Mohanraj, Founder and CEO of Archipro Pvt Ltd, as part of an Alumni Interaction Program, which provided an excellent platform for students to connect with alumni from diverse professional backgrounds. Er. Mohanraj shared his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship within the civil engineering sector and offering insights into transitioning from an engineer to a successful business leader. He emphasized the significance of networking and mentorship, encouraging students to establish relationships with alumni for career guidance and support. The event was well-received by the students, who actively participated and gained practical knowledge about entrepreneurial opportunities in civil engineering, expanding their perspective on career pathways beyond traditional engineering roles. This interaction enriched the students' understanding of career development while fostering connections with alumni for future mentorship.
