Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a one-day DST-SERB sponsored National seminar on "Processing and characterization of additive manufactured components for engineering and medical applications" on 22.04.2022 at Thanam Hall. A Total number of 83 students and 1 faculty member from various engineering colleges have participated and got benefitted. The resource persons for the program are: Dr. T. Ram Prabhu from DRDO, Dr. Senthilkumaran K from IIITD&M, Dr. Rajesh Ranganathan from CIT, Dr. K. Ravikumar from KPRIET, and have delivered their areas of expertise. Dr.M.Kumar and Mr.P.Arunkumar of KPRIET have engaged the participants in the demonstration of FDM 3D printer and 3D Scanner. The participants were very enthusiastic and interactive during the session.
