Report: Selection Trials for Moscow Wushu Stars Championship 2024
The Moscow Wushu Stars Championship is a prestigious international wushu competition scheduled to be held in Moscow, Russia, from February 28 to March 5, 2024. This competition will showcase athletes from over 30 countries, competing in both sanda (fight) and taolu (forms) events, highlighting the global appeal and competitive nature of wushu.
In preparation for this event, the selection trials for the Indian team were conducted on January 22, 2024, at the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology. This selection trial was open to athletes of all ages and skill levels, aiming to identify the best talent to represent India on the international stage.
A total of 120 players from various parts of India participated in the selection trial, showcasing their skills and determination to secure a spot on the Indian team. The selection process was rigorous, with players demonstrating their proficiency in both sanda and taolu disciplines.
