In this expert lecture on the Advanced MRI Technologies and its future scope, chief guest Mr. A. Subramonium discussed the recent advancements in MRI for medical field. The session covered how MRI technologies, such as applications of deep MRI reconstruction, ranging from non-Cartesian reconstruction to super-resolution, joint learning for coil-sensitivity and sampling, quantitative mapping, and MRI fingerprinting. In MRI long scan time also reduces scanner usage, reducing broad access to this exam and increasing costs. Therefore, minimizing the scan time is highly significant in clinical studies and very important in clinical practice. In recent years, Deep Learning (DL) has emerged as a powerful tool for improving the quality and speed of MRI reconstruction. Participants have interactive session about GE healthcare industry and their new innovations, work culture, internship opportunities, industry training periods and industrial visit. Participants also underscored the importance of robust generalization, artifact handling, and the development of explainable AI techniques in the context of fast MRI.
