E-Yantra is an initiative by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay that conducts robotics competitions and provides resources and training in robotics and embedded systems for students. These competitions often focus on solving real-world problems through robotics and automation. The session started with the mission and vision of KPRIET, department of Mechatronics engineering. The motivation towards the competitions are initially explained to all the students. E-Yantra consists of various phases, including online and offline rounds. The competition begins with the release of problem statements related to a specific theme for the year. Teams of students from different colleges and universities across India participate. Teams are evaluated based on their performance in both online and offline rounds. Online rounds often involve submitting reports and videos demonstrating their progress, while the offline rounds include a demonstration of their robotic solutions at the E-Yantra competition venue in IIT Bombay.Winning teams receive prizes, certificates, and recognition for their innovative solutions. E-Yantra also provides a platform for participants to showcase their projects to industry experts and potential employers.E-Yantra has had a significant impact on promoting robotics education and skill development in India. It has inspired numerous students to pursue careers in robotics, embedded systems, and automation. It has also fostered a culture of innovation and problem-solving in the country.
