The SPARKS Student Association Inauguration Ceremony Report

The SPARKS Student Association, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science,KPR Institute of Engineering and Technolgy is proud to report on the successful inauguration of our association on 23rd September,2023(Saturday). The event marked the official launch of our association and was a momentous occasion for all the students, faculty, and staff who attended.

Event Highlights:

Opening Ceremony:The event began with a formal opening ceremony with Tamil Thai Vazhthu, KPR Anthem and Lightning kuthuvilakku . The Principal Dr.M.Ramasamy, faculty members, and esteemed guest Mr.Dinesh Kumar P graced us with their presence. We were honored to have Mr.Dinesh Kumar P ,Product Manager,Kissflow,Chennai as our distinguished guests for the day.

The Principal's address was a significant moment during the meeting, as it provided valuable insights, guidance, and inspiration to the student leaders and members of the association. It served as a reminder of the significant role that student associations play in the personal and academic growth of students and the broader campus community.

The Welcome Address was delivered by the Head of the department Dr. A.C. Sumathi.She delivered a warm welcome address, extending gratitude to everyone for their support and presence.

The Inaugural Address was delivered by Ms.A.PUNIDHA , Association In-Charge delivered an inspiring inaugural address, emphasizing the importance of student engagement and the role of student associations in campus life. Their insightful words motivated the students to actively participate in the association's activities.

Unveiling of the Association Banner: The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the official Student Association banner, which represents our identity and values. Dr. M. Ramasamy,Principal, Mr.Dinesh Kumar P and Dr. A.C. Sumathi jointly unveiled the banner.

Introduction of Executive Committee: The Student Association Executive Committee members were introduced during the event, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Members. Their dedication to the association's goals was emphasized.

A special photo session were taken with our newly inaugurated student office bearers.

Sparks Presidential Address: SUVEDHA S, President of Final Year AD delivered the SPARKS Student Association Presidential Address. Suvedha began the speech by extending a warm welcome to all attendees, including students, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests. The president expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their presence and support, setting a positive tone for the event.    The president encouraged all students, regardless of their background or affiliation, to come together as a cohesive force to effect positive change on campus. The president consolidated the event hignlights of the past academic year.

The Presidential Address was given by Mr.Dinesh Kumar,Product Manager,KissFlow. It was a significant and memorable part of the event. It served as a source of inspiration and guidance for the student community, reaffirming the values and principles that are essential for personal and societal growth.

Certificate Distribution was done for the remarkable acheivers of the students in the past academic year.

Vote of thanks:VISHAL K S,Secretary, III AD, proposed the vote of thanks. The Vote of Thanks at SPARKS Student Association event served as a fitting conclusion, reflecting the association's gratitude for the support, participation, and cooperation of all stakeholders. It reinforced the importance of collaboration and community spirit within the college.
