Coimbatore Civil Engineers Association (COCENA) was formed in 2007 and it has grown in leaps & bounds and at present has a member strength of 1000+ fellow engineers. COCENA is not viewed as another association, but a force of transformation that has shaped and is continuously shaping the infrastructural landscape of Coimbatore. COCENA is conducting lot of innovative programs and functions for the students from Civil Engineering Department across different institutes from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Salem. COCENA has planned to organize Technical quiz competition for final year full time graduating Civil Engineering students on 20th September 2023 at KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore in association with Department of Civil Engineering.
The event was conducted as two sessions which comprises of Round one to be written test and the teams that qualify the written round will be participating in the final round conducted by the Quiz Master. Cash awards and recognitions has been planned for the winners emerging from the Quiz contest. It was a grand event in which around 20 teams from different institute participated. Highlight of the event is that around 25 engineers from COCENA were actively participating in organizing the quiz contest and have interacted with the students.
