The Startup Scaling & Crisis HR Assessment was conducted to enhance students’ practical knowledge of Human Resource Management through interactive, team-based activities. The event focused on three key areas: talent acquisition and job architecture, HR analytics and employee attrition management, and employee relations. Students worked in teams of four to five members and addressed simulated workplace challenges within a limited time. They designed job descriptions, developed recruitment strategies, estimated recruitment costs, analysed employee attrition data, and proposed suitable HR interventions. The final round involved a role-play activity in which students practised conflict resolution, policy compliance, active listening, and emotional intelligence. The activity aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical HR concepts and real-world organisational practices.
