The Department of Mechanical Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with Shri Sai NDT, is organizing a hands-on training programme on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to provide students with practical exposure to modern inspection and material evaluation techniques. The programme will focus on the fundamentals, applications, and industrial practices of NDT, enabling participants to understand how defects and discontinuities can be identified without damaging the components.
The training will be delivered by Mr. Abul Kalam, Senior Consultant – NDT Specialist, Shri Sai NDT, Pondicherry, and will provide valuable industry-oriented knowledge and practical experience. The programme aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial requirements, particularly in manufacturing, welding, fabrication, quality control, and inspection applications.
