The Department of Chemical Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with The Institution of Engineers (India) – Coimbatore Local Centre, under the aegis of the Chemical Engineering Division Board (CHDB), IEI, is organizing a One Day Seminar on "From Emissions to Resources: CO₂ Capture, Storage and Utilization" on 04 August 2026 at Ragam Hall, Mythreyi Block.

The seminar aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of Carbon Capture, Storage and Utilization (CCUS) technologies and their role in addressing climate change and achieving industrial sustainability. The sessions will cover the latest developments in carbon capture processes, storage strategies, resource utilization pathways, and emerging opportunities for transforming carbon dioxide into valuable products. The event will also highlight the role of chemical engineers in advancing low-carbon technologies, promoting sustainable industrial practices, and supporting India's journey toward net-zero emissions.

The seminar will be graced by Er. G.
