SIMPLE STRATEGIES FOR HIGHER IELTS BAND SCORE, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

KPR International Centre and IMTP Overseas Education consultants jointly organized an orientation program on Simple strategies for Higher IELTS band score at Career Advancement Centre on 28.04.2023 between 03.00 pm to 04.00 pm. The program was aimed at providing students with simple yet effective strategies to secure higher bands in the IELTS language exam. The program was graced by the presence of two eminent speakers, Mr. Vijaykumar, an IELTS certified verbal faculty, and Mr. Prem Anand, were the chief guests for the event.They both highlighted the importance of IELTS and the various benefits it offers to students who wish to pursue higher education or career opportunities abroad. They also discussed the format and structure of the IELTS exam and the four modules of the exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The students actively participated in the program and raised their doubts on the IELTS exam and ways to secure higher bands. The resource persons responded to the queries and clarified their doubts. They shared tips on how to improve their language skills and provided simple yet effective strategies to secure higher bands in each module of the exam. The resource persons also emphasized the importance of time management and practicing regularly to improve their language skills. They suggested students to practice listening to English language audio clips, reading English newspapers and books, writing essays on different topics, and participating in group discussions and debates to improve their language proficiency. The program was highly informative and beneficial for the students who wish to pursue higher education or career opportunities abroad. It provided them with valuable insights and strategies to improve their language skills and secure higher bands in the IELTS exam. Overall, the program was a huge success and received positive feedback from the participants. Total of 20 students and 2 faculty members attended the programme.
