INNOVSENSE 2023 V1.0, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The innovative spirit of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology sparkles with the creative caliber of the students showcased in the Innovsense 2023 v1.0, an Inter- collegiate project contest. The contest was organized by Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development, KPRIET on 17.04.2023 at the college premises where a total of 165 projects were registered and 110  projects were exhibited for evaluation. The event was organized by the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIIED) of KPRIET.   On 17.04.2023 Evaluation panel members Mr. Rajesh Kumar - Assistant Manager R&D - Lakshmi Precision Technologies Ltd - Coimbatore, Mr. Guruprasath - Engineer R&D Lakshmi Electrical Control System Ltd - Coimbatore , Mr.Vivek - Managing Director & Founder of Star Watt Power - Sathyamangalam and Muthu Kumar Nagarajan - Senior Engineer - ZF India Private Limited are evaluated 110 projects and 30 projects were shortlisted for final round.   Students from all departments and nearby schools visited the project expo with enthusiasm. Many technologies were exhibited ranging from socially relevant projects, IoT's, AI related applications, consumer electronics, start up ideas, health care application and many more were exhibited. The expert panel evaluated the teams based on the innovation, proto type exhibited and the presentation demo from the student teams. After several scrutiny the top 30 teams were selected and intimated to the students. Industry expectations and the technology applied were explained to the students by the expert committee. Also the evaluators were ready to help the students to further guide them in making successful projects.
