The session was begun with introduction to IoT and their basic elements. He used power point presentation as well as animated videos students better understanding. He engaged 55 mins for the given topic with interactive session. He presented few industrial IoT based case studies. He discussed about various elements present in the IoT and its functions. He explained about impact of IoT in various industrial applications like automobile/aircraft/boilers/powerplant/healthcare/agriculture/security etc. He also explained about the implementation of IoT, significance, construction of your own IoT devices, communication with IoT, sensors, design, limitations and protection. He presented most 10 popular IoT applications with statistics. He explained about various risk factors of IoT in implementation for different industrial sectors. The following some applications of IoT are Product flow monitoring, Factory digitization, Inventory management, Safety and security, Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization, Quality control and Packaging customization. Different types of Sensors such as Temperature Sensors, Image Sensors, Gyro Sensors, Obstacle Sensors, RF Sensor, IR Sensor, MQ-02/05 Gas Sensor, LDR Sensor and Ultrasonic Distance Sensor are some sensors used in IoT devices for industrial applications.
