POSTER PRESENTATION, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with FIESTAA'23 Organized "POSTER PRESENTATION" event on 16.02.2023. Around 22 students were participated from various institutions. The competition aimed to help students showcase their technical poster making skills and their ability to present their respective technical posters. Department of Mechanical Engineering encourages the students to come up with innovative ideas in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The theme of the competition was "Emerging Trendsetter in the Field of Mechanical". The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. The judges for the competition were Dr.V.Bhuvaneswari and Dr.S.Dharanikumar from Department of Mechanical Engineering. A total of 19 teams participated in the technical poster competition, each team consisting of one member and last three teams consisting of two team members. Each team was given 5 minutes to present their poster followed by Q & A by the judges and marks were given accordingly. Judges had announced three winners from the group.
Winners of the competition were: 1st - Mr. Anish kumar, (Vehicle hybridization) 2nd- Mr.Sudharsan (IoT in Agriculture) 3rd- Mr. Jaisurya (Sustainable Development).

The competition was a great success and memorable learning event for the students. From the feedback analysis, we could observe that, the overall reception to the competition was highly positive. Many participants were about 20 years of age, followed by 19 and 21 respectively. The majority of the participants enjoyed the experience with poster presentation was met with their expectations.
