The Department of Mechanical Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, organized a technical event titled “Design and Optimization of HVAC Systems in Industrial Applications” with the objective of providing participants with comprehensive knowledge and industrial exposure to modern HVAC system design and optimization techniques. The event commenced with a Welcome Address delivered by Dr. N. Udhayakumar, who emphasized the significance of HVAC systems in industrial infrastructure and green building initiatives. This was followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. S. Ramesh Babu, who appreciated the department’s continuous efforts in organizing industry-focused technical programs for student development.
The Special Address was delivered by the Chief Guest, Dr. D. Balaji, a renowned expert in HVAC and Building Services Engineering. He shared valuable insights into advanced HVAC design strategies, system optimization, energy management, and the role of innovation in sustainable engineering solutions. His address provided participants with a practical understanding of current industrial trends and emerging technologies in the HVAC sector.
The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 164 students from various engineering colleges, reflecting the strong interest and enthusiasm towards HVAC technology and its industrial applications. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by the student coordinators, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the management, faculty members, and the distinguished guest for their guidance and support in making the event a success.
