An awareness programme titled "Say No to Drugs" was successfully conducted at Government Higher Secondary School, Vaharayam Palayam. The event aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to make informed, healthy life choices.
Event Details:
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 120 students. The awareness talk was delivered by Prof. Premkumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.
During the session, Prof. Premkumar elaborated on the physical, mental, and social consequences of drug abuse. He highlighted the importance of choosing a healthy lifestyle and provided practical strategies for resisting peer pressure. The session was interactive, with students actively participating and raising thoughtful questions.

The programme effectively raised awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and empowered students to make positive life choices.
