The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an international faculty development program titled “The role of Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energy Applications” from 01/08/2022 to 05/08/2022 exclusively for faculty members. A heart-warming welcome was delivered by Dr.V.Kumar Chinnaiyan, Head of the Department. He conveyed the importance of Faculty development program on renewable energy systems. Dr.A.Karthick Associate Professor/EEE has introduced the resource person of the day.
Day 1 Dr. Rafael Luque, Universidad de Cordoba Spain , has delivered a valuable presentation on bioenergy misconceptions and reality. He has presented the discussions on green chemistry, biofuel ladders, and research projects at their university.
Day 2 Dr. Md. Hasanuzzaman, University of Malaya, Malaysia, has delivered a valuable presentation on Energy: The Current Challenges: Renewable Energy and Future Research. He has presented the discussions on energy scenarios, solar thermal systems, energy storage, and electric vehicles for smart cities.
Day 3 Dr. Hassan Haes Alhelou, Monash University, Australia, has delivered valuable presentation on Renewable Energy dominated power system frequency control and its resilience and cyber vulnerabilities. He has presented the discussions on frequency control on the renewable energy due to the intermittent solar radiation.
Day 4 Dr. Aritra Ghosh, University of Exeter, United Kingdom, has delivered valuable presentation on Integration of photovoltaics in buildings. He has presented the discussions on pervoskite, building integrated photovoltaic, Building applied, Phase change material and soiling of PV modules.
Day 5 Dr. Fausto Pedro García Márquez, Spain has delivered a valuable presentation on Artificial intelligence for energy sources. He has presented the discussion on building energy consumption, renewable energy prediction across global.
There were 270 participants across the country attended the programme and got benefited. The department of EEE thanks the Management and Principal for providing this opportunity to conduct the international faculty development program successfully.
