The Department of Computer Science and Engineering planned to conduct a One-Credit Course, “Data Engineering with Pyspark” scheduled on 10.05.2024 & 11.05.2024 ( Offline Event ) for the students of second year Computer Science and Engineering.( Total : 60 ) We are fortunate to have Mr. Shabari Iyyappan, Data Scientist, Brane Services and Mr .A.Gowri Shankar ,Data Analyst, LatentView Analytics who conducted the session to bring in the advancements in Pyspark and its real-time insights. The course aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of data engineering and their applications across various domains. The course covered theoretical concepts, practical implementations related to Pyspark The students explored the diverse applications of Data Science , Exploratory Data Visualization .Lecture sessions were conducted in III CSE A - Classroom and NMS lab for both the days. The course received positive feedback from students, who appreciated the comprehensive coverage of topics, the clarity of explanations and the relevance of practical exercises. By the end of the course, students demonstrated proficiency in designing, implementing and evaluating Psypark applications and showcased various charts.
