Summary

Department of Civil Engineering organized the 'First Parent - Teacher - Student Connect 2023' for Second year Civil Engineering at GF I on 18.11.2023.

The primary purpose of the parent-teacher meeting was to discuss the academic progress, behavior and overall well-being of the students.

Head of the Department of Civil Engineering Dr. G. Anusha welcomed the parents and discussed about the facilities available along with the training modules planned for the betterment of students. HoD-Civil also introduced the Chief mentor and others mentors of the class to the parents. She also presented the achievements of the department, faculty and students to all the parents. Then, Mr. S. Yuvaraj, Chief mentor of the class explained about the internship opportunities that will be available for the students during their semester holidays. Also he emphasized and seeked the support of parents to encourage students to make use of the facilities available beyond working hours. HoD- Civil informed the parents about the categorization of students for placements and higher studies/ Government exams in the upcoming semester. Later, all the parents interacted with respective mentors where performance of students CIAT I of current semester and previous End Semester examination were discussed.
