Summary

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized Eight hours Hackathon for second year Mechanical Engineering students. Interfacing with IOT component is the theme of this hackathon. Mr.S.Ramanathan, technical project manager from Kavin INC, Automation and Robotic technology Centre, Reviewed and evaluated the students' projects. 65 students were participated in this hackathon. Per team 4 students were there. Around 18 teams were participated. Hackathon was conducted for eight hours. Students developed IOT/ARDUINO-based projects using various mechanical/electronics components. First Internal committee members reviewed and given the suggestion to the students. Based on those commands, students improved their presentations as well as focused on application point of view. Based on the External and internal committee review, best three teams were awarded with Memento and cash voucher.
