Anna University zone- IX Badminton Tournament (Men) – 2023 report:
The Anna University Zone – IX Badminton Tournament for Men have organized at the KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology, Arasur, Coimbatore, on September 23, 2023 and September 24, 2023. It was a thrilling competition featuring some of the best teams in the region.
Total of 9 teams participated in the tournament from Anna University Zone – IX.
Our principal Dr. M. Ramasamy has inaugurated the final match between KPRIET and PSGTECH, KPR Institute of Engineering Technology emerged as the champions, defeating PSG College of Technology with a score of 3-2. It was a closely contested match, showcasing the skill and determination of both teams. Ultimately, KPRIET emerged victorious, securing the first-place in the tournament.
The third and fourth-place match Sri Sakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology facing off against Coimbatore Institute of Technology. Sri Sakthi secured the third-place position by winning the match with a score of 3-1.
Congratulations to all the participating teams for their outstanding performances in the Anna University Badminton Tournament, Zone IX, and a special congratulations to KPR Institute of Engineering Technology for clinching the championship title. We look forward to compete in the Anna University Inter- Zonal Badminton Tournament-2023.
