Since women entrepreneurs are the the basis of the social change to which India aspires, the government will continue to focus on women empowerment by emphasizing dignity, opportunity, appreciation for their efforts and contribution laying the foundations of a new India, filling the gaps in the solutions required by women innovators and help lay the foundation for building the economic structure of a mighty India.
It is the effort of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to enable MSMEs to implement their ideas and create innovative solutions while seeking the solutions to local problems that could be the generational leap that India needs, to transform its social, cultural and economic ecosystem into a world leader.
Ideas are invited as part of Women Innovators' MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0, Women Students and women owned MSMEs from all over India under the Bureau of Development Commissioner – MSME Innovative Program.The objective of the scheme is to promote and support untapped creativity and to promote adoption of latest technologies in MSMEs that seek the validation of their ideas at the proof- of-concept level. Ideas are invited as part of Women Innovators' MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0, Women Students and women owned MSMEs from all over India under the Bureau of Development Commissioner – MSME Innovative Program.We have received 116 ideas submitted for the MSME Idea hackathon 3.0 (Women). As a MSME recognized HI we are supposed to shortlist the eligible ideas through committee level evaluation and recommend for the next level. As per the instructions and guidelines by MSME, “HIs must ensure that in the evaluation committee, at least one member is from industry as per the scheme guideline. If the number of ideas received is more than 20 per sector, then a separate evaluation committee comprising one domain expert shall be formed to evaluate those ideas, and separate MoM shall be prepared for each sector. We planned to conduct Stage 1: Evaluation by the Host Institutes as per MSME Gideline on 26.08.2023 Saturday. We have received 116 ideas submitted for the MSME Idea hackathon 3.0 (Women).
