With Project Management as an area of expertise and interest, I visited the world renowned HOOVER DAM project and studied the construction related documents, focussing on the various management tools adopted towards its construction. HOOVER DAM is a project management marvel as the project was constructed under extreme adverse geographic and climatic conditions. Therefore by improvising time and cost effective management tools, construction time was reduced from seven years to five years, more than 75 years ago.
