The Department of English organized a highly engaging and informative Guest Lecture titled "Express to Impress" on Saturday, 29th April 2023. The event aimed to enhance the communication skills of the students and provide insights into the corporate world's communication requirements. The lecture was attended by students, faculty members, and other esteemed guests. We were honored to have Dr. M. Rangarajan as the Chief Guest for the event. Dr. Rangarajan is a renowned Corporate Trainer and Quiz Master, as well as the CEO of Mind Games Quizzing and Consulting. His expertise and experience in the field made him the perfect choice to deliver valuable insights on effective communication. The event began promptly at 10:00 am with a warm welcome extended to Dr. Rangarajan by the department head. Dr. Rangarajan's lecture covered various aspects of communication, including verbal and non-verbal communication, body language, and effective presentation skills. He emphasized the importance of clear and concise expression and shared practical tips to improve communication skills. The interactive session allowed students to actively participate, ask questions, and share their experiences. Dr. Rangarajan encouraged a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the lecture.
