Summary
The inaugural function of the AICTE Sponsored national conference on recent trends in artificial intelligence advanced communication and smart systems Conference (RTAACS) was held on 31st March 2023, Friday and 01st April 2023. The Welcome address was given by Dr. J Indra, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She welcomed the guests who were presented on the dais i.e. Dr.A.Shobha Rekh, Professor,Vellore Institute of Technology and Dr.S.Ramprabhu, Associate Professor, SSN college of Engineering, Chairpersons, Resource Persons, Paper presenters and delegates who arrived to the conference. The Inaugural address was given by Dr.M.Kathirvelu, Director- Planning and Development .
The two-day conference saw a total of 98 papers being presented by students from across India. The conference was held with the aim of providing a platform for students to showcase their research and innovation in various fields. The papers covered a wide range of topics, including technology, science and engineering
The conference was graced by the presence of two eminent personalities - Dr. Shobha Rekh and Dr. Ram, who delivered their keynote addresses. Dr. Shobha Rekh spoke about the importance of research and how it can shape the future of our country. She stressed on the need for more investment in research and development, especially in the field of science and technology.
Dr. S.Ramprabhu, on the other hand, spoke about the role of 6G in the overall development of an technology and the society as a whole. He highlighted the need for students to be creative and innovative in their approach towards problem-solving, and urged them to be lifelong learners.
The conference also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with the experts in their respective fields and receive feedback on their work. The presentations were followed by question-answer sessions, where the audience posed thought-provoking questions to the presenters.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.D.Venugopal, who expressed his gratitude to all the participants, the organizing committee, and the sponsors for their support in making the conference a success. He also thanked the chief guests and other distinguished guests for their valuable insights and contributions.
Overall, the conference was a great success and provided a platform for students to showcase their research and innovation, learn from experts in their fields, and network with peers from across the country. It was a great opportunity for students to gain valuable experience and exposure, and to contribute towards the growth and development of their respective fields.
