KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University Catholique de l'Ouest, France. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 23rd March 2023 by Dr. M. Akila, the Principal of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Mr. Dominique Vermersch, the Rector of the University Catholique de l'Ouest.
KPR International Centre at KPRIET has organised an International Seminar for the students in Higher Education – Enriching experience at France. Mr. Thomas Bourgninaud, Director of Faculty of Law, Economics and Management and Mrs. Giao Duong, International Recruitment Manager of Asia, University Catholique de l’Ouest were the chief guests. Dr. M.A. Manikandan, Director of KPR International Centre, welcomed the gathering. Dr. K. Vishnukumar, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, delivered a vote of thanks. They delivered a speech on career and job opportunities available at France. The students raised their doubts on scholarships, internships and job opportunities at France. The event was organised by KPR International Centre (KIC) to facilitate the students about International career, and to do masters and research program in France.
The MoU covers a wide range of collaborative initiatives, including faculty and student mobility, virtual exchanges, joint research activities, and participation in seminars. Both institutions will also exchange scientific and academic materials, collaborate on online international learning (COIL), and work towards joint/double diplomas and joint publications.
The signing of the MoU putforth the commitment of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology and the University Catholique de l'Ouest to expand their academic horizons and offer their students and faculty members unique opportunities to enhance their educational and professional experiences. This collaboration will enable both institutions to foster greater academic and cultural exchange and facilitate research and innovation that will benefit students and faculty alike.
