HACKFEST 23- CODING CONTEST, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The Hackfest coding contest event was organized by the association of SPARK, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science on 17.03.2023 from 2PM to 4PM at Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Lab. This event was welcomed by Mr.Santhosh Kumar, President of SPARK association, Mr.V.Vijayaganth Assistant Professor(Sl.Gr) chief guest of this day. He address to the participants the importance of this event. Mr.M.Premkumar Assistant Professor(Sr.Gr) act as jury for this contest. He deliver the protocols for this contest. Dr.V.Vignesh Association Incharge coordinate the function. 80 participants gained their knowledge from this contest.
The importance of this contest it is a programming competition generally involves the host presenting a set of logical or mathematical problems, also known as puzzles or challenges, to the contestants . Contestants are required to write computer programs capable of solving these problems. Judging is based mostly upon number of problems solved and time spent for writing successful solutions, but may also include other factors (quality of output produced, execution time, memory usage, program size, etc.). This contest helps the participants to increase the technical skills.
The protocols for this event, the participants can code in any one of the language like C,C++,JAVA and Python. They should not switch the tab from one to another and coping the source code from the net leads to disqualified. Contest will be end at the prescribed time. No extra time will be provided. Jury decision is a final decision.
The outcome of this event makes the participants to increase the technical knowledge and analytical skills in solving the real time problems. They can solve the problems within the stimulated period.
