KPRIET celebrated International women's day on March 8, 2023. The event, started by 1.30 pm, held at the majestic Kalaiarangam, was graced by the presence of Padma Shri Pappammal, Indian Organic Farmer, Mrs. Parimaladevi, Headmaster, Government Higher Secondary School, Vagarayampalayam, Coimbatore, Mrs. Shalu Raj, Mrs. South India and Ms. Niveda R, Co-Founder and CEO Green Delight Innovations Pvt Ltd., who inspired us with their insightful speeches and motivating stories.
In this event, KPRIET Alumni Association contributed an amount of Rs.30,000 to Government Higher Secondary School, Vagarayampalayam, Coimbatore for the welfare of their school students. Our Principal Dr. Akila felicitated Mrs. Parimaladevi, Headmaster, Government Higher Secondary School, Vagarayampalayam, Coimbatore and handed over the DD to Mrs. Parimaladevi.
Our brilliant faculty members and outstanding students shared their stories of courage, determination, and resilience, leaving the audience feeling empowered and motivated. We were thrilled to distribute certificates and prizes for various sports events for women, including cricket, throw-ball, badminton, and athletics, and the Flowra rolling trophy, which was a highlight of the event.
The celebration was graced by our college principal, who added to the grandeur and magnificence of the event. We are proud to have nurtured the garden of women empowerment through this event, where every woman is a vibrant flower that blooms with beauty, power, and grace. We are grateful to all those who joined us for this joyous celebration of women's strength, perseverance, and unwavering spirit.
