Summary
Yi-YUVA KPRIET organizes the ROADSAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM at AVS CENTRAL SCHOOL, Tiruppur on 03.03.2023. The class of 7th and 8th students were attended the program. The speaker is Ms.krithika from II ECE who was made the session very interest and understandable. She also learnt a live experince which will help in her future activities. Road safety is an essential aspect of our daily lives. Every year, many people lose their lives or sustain severe injuries due to road accidents. Therefore, it is essential to educate school students about road safety, as they are the future drivers and pedestrians. The primary objectives of the road safety awareness program were to educate school students about road safety rules and regulations, to create awareness among students about the consequences of road accidents and to encourage students to become responsible road users. The Chair of Yi-YUVA KPRIET Mr. KEERTHIVASAN talked about the rules and regulations related to road safety, such as traffic signals, speed limits, seat belt usage, and discussed the importance of being vigilant while walking on the road, crossing the road, and cycling. Interactive sessions were conducted to engage the students in the program, which included quiz contests, role-plays, and demonstrations.The students showed great interest in the program and participated actively in the interactive sessions. The program helped the students to understand the importance of road safety and how they could contribute to reducing road accidents. The mime show conducted for school students. The use of mime art as a medium to convey the message of road safety was effective in engaging the students and creating awareness among them. The mime show was an innovative and impactful way to create awareness about road safety among school students. The students enjoyed the program and also learnt a lot about roadsafety.
