The event started with simple explanation about the jobs opportunities both core and IT and a detailed session was there regarding the higher studies.
Students can avail job in government, public and private sector. If they are interested in private sector jobs, it is safer to go through the college placements itself. But when it comes to pricate ad government sector, students can choose banking, insurance, UPSC, state PSC, SSC etc..,
Regarding higher studies, the available opportunities were discussed as below.

2) Masters in abroad - TOEFL, IELTS, GRE
3) MBA in India - CAT
4) MBA in abroad - GMAT, GRE, IELTS
5) Masters in Management (MIM) - GMAT, GRE, IELTS
On clearing the CAT exams for MBA, it will be a best choice to select any one from the top 20 IIM's (Indian Institute of Management) in India.
The top B schools that can be selected other than IIM are FMS, XLRI, IIT, JBIMS, SPJ, NITIE, MDI, XIM, IIFT, SIBM, SCMHRD, NMIMS, TISS, IMT, IMI, MICA, GLIM, BIM and LIBA/KJS.
To pursue MBA, other than CAT there are few other entrance test like XAT, SNAP, NMAT, IIFT, MICAT, TISSNET, CMAT, MAT AND TANCET.
