Summary
The event started with Dr. A Karthick, Asso. Prof. of EEE Dept, welcoming the guests in the Thanam Hall. Shri A Sasikumar, Joint Secretary of SSEM and the Head of Testing, Jayem Automotives Pvt Ltd, followed up with a brief about the SSEM. Shri S M Manoharan, Executive Director of SSEM highlighted the importance of utilizing the institutional chapter of SSEM. The guests were then felicitated by Dr. K Mohana Sundaram, Head of EEE. Further, SSEM – KPRIET institutional chapter was formally inaugurated by Dr S Chandrashekar, Vice President and Founding Trustee SSEM, Corporate Director of Roots Group of Companies. The student chair. Student secretary and four different team members were formed under the category of project and product development. Industry interactions and internships, Technical seminars and competitions, membership and finance management. Prof. C. Vasantharaj, Founder Trustee of SSEM, Director of Kumaraguru College of Industrial Research and Innovation was also present during the inauguration. The felicitation address was delivered by Shri K Barathan, Joint Treasurer of SSEM, MD of Ozotec Automobile Pvt Ltd. He also provided significant insights into the EV industry and interacted with faculty and students. Dr K Mohanasundaram gave a brief talk on the KPR Institutional Chapter and the importance of the same to the students. At the end, the Vote of thanks was offered by Dr A Rakesh Kumar, Asst. Prof,(Sl.G) EEE Dept.
