Cultural events, connected with various fields of culture (dancing, music, drama, art and reading fiction) are based on person’s creative skills. They reveal cultural heritage in an improvised way and give opportunity to reveal and develop the resources and potential in the human being.
Cultural events help to develop the skills of cooperation and communication. They give the opportunity to express emotions and to enrich one’s own social experiences that is the precondition of the formation of the deserving citizens.
Cultural events play more important role in rehabilitation and therapy rather than in education. Cultural events give the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and formation of skills in the field of art (students gain knowledge about historical events, cultural traditions; they develop the skills of dancing, music, drawing and other similar skills).
Cultural events give children education with the aim of raising cultural awareness, interaction and sensitivity. Student Affairs and KPR International Centre have organized Aikiyam '23 for all non-Tamil speaking students on 07/02/23 from 04:00 pm onwards in the Open Air Theatre. 
The function started at 04.00 pm with KPR Anthem. Dr. M. Akila, Principal gave welcome address by 04.03 pm. Cultural events (singing, solo dance, group dance, performance) were conducted by non-Tamil speaking students . Non-Tamil speaking students expressed their talents through their performance in singing, solo dance, group dance, rap songs. International students gave a speech about their own nation's culture. Cultural events started from 04.10 pm and extended till 06.30 pm.
